 RRB ALP RECRUITMENT 2025 NOTIFICATION PUBLISHED

Indian Railways is going to recruit 9970 people for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot this year (2025). Candidates who are between 18 to 30 years of age and have Matriculation/Secondary School Level Pass Certificate, ITI Pass, Diploma Certificate can apply. The online application process has started as usual on the official website www.rrbapply.gov.in from 12th April 2025 and will continue till 11th May 2025.

Clossing Date for online application : 11th May 2025.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 Eligibility:       Age                            :  18 to 30 years

Age Relaxation: As per category and community wise age relaxation in upper age limit /maximum upper age

Course Completed Act Apprentices applying for the post of which minimum qualification is ITI/Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.		Shall be relaxed to the extent of Apprentice Training undergone by them under the Apprentice Act. 1961

i)          If a candidate is eligible for age relaxation on more than one ground, he/she will get the maximum amongst the relaxations for which he/she is eligible(not cumulative). ii)         SC, ST, OBC (NCL) candidates applying against UR vacancies will not get any age relaxation. iii)        Age relaxation to Ex SM candidates will be as given in para5.1above.

Medical Standard                   :  A-1

General Fitness                       :  Physically fit in all respect.

Vision Standards                      :  i) Distant Vision: 6/6, 6/6 without glasses with fogging test

       (must  not accept +2D).

                                                       ii) Near Vision: Sn: 0.6,0.6 without glasses and

  iii) Must pass tests for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision,

       Field of Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic Vision, etc.

Educational qualification for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP)     :

Matriculation/ Secondary School Level Pass Certificate, ITI / Diploma course.

Matriculation / SSLC, ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Fitter / Heat Engine / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Millwright Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & TV / Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic / Tractor Mechanic / Turner / Wireman

OR

Matriculation / SSLC, Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above

                                                                           OR 
3 years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering

                                                                            OR
Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI.

Candidates with Degree in the Engineering disciplines mentioned above can also apply.

 

Essential :

a.      Candidates must already have the prescribed Educational/Technical Qualifications from a recognized Institute/University as on the last date of submission of online application

b.      Those awaiting result of their final examination of the prescribed educational/technical qualification should not apply.

 

Note : The Educationa/Technical Qualification Certificates viz. Provisional or Regular Certificate should contain the date of issue. In case, date of issue of these certificate is after the closing date of the notification, then the consolidated marks sheet with date of declaration of the final qualifying exam or individual marks sheets of all the semesters/ year result should be submitted. In case of non availability of date in any of these certificates, then a certificate indicating date of declaration of result from the Board/University to this effects should be produced at the time of Document Verification.
